化妝品防腐劑（Preservatives）是添加於產品中的一類重要成分，其主要功能是抑制或阻止微生物（如細菌、酵母及黴菌）的生長。在含水或高營養成分的化妝品中，微生物極易繁殖，若缺乏適當的防腐措施，產品不僅容易變質，甚至可能對使用者的皮膚與健康造成風險。因此，防腐劑在確保產品安全性、穩定性以及延長保存期限方面，扮演着不可或缺的角色。常見化妝品防腐劑種類有苯甲酸、山梨酸、對羥基苯甲酸酯（Parabens）、酒精等。

相應之限量可以參考由國家食品藥品監督管理總局頒布之《化妝品安全技術規範》（2015年版）（簡稱《技術規範》）。

Cosmetic preservatives are an important class of ingredients added to products, primarily to inhibit or prevent the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria, yeast, and mold. In cosmetics that contain water or are rich in nutrients, microorganisms can easily proliferate. Without appropriate preservation measures, products are prone to spoilage and may even pose risks to the user’s skin and health. Therefore, preservatives play an indispensable role in ensuring product safety, stability, and extending shelf life.
