Microbial Testing in Cosmetic
According to the “Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics” issued by the The China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) in 2015, 5 microbiological items (Total Bacterial Count, Faecal Coliform, Pseudonomas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Yeast and Mould) are usually examined.
Below table shown the acceptable limits of the 5 microbiological items :
