Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) is mainly transmitted by respiratory droplets, yet droplets may land on surface of objects. This leads to a potential risk in causing infection through contact. It is important to examine the presence of coronavirus in the environment.
Some studies found out that SARS-CoV-2 can survive for hours to days on different surfaces. The following table shows the estimated survival period of SARS-CoV-2 on different object surfaces.

Enviro Labs offers efficient COVID-19 surface testing by using the Real-Time PCR (RT-PCR) technology. RT-PCR is a highly sensitive DNA-based testing method which can provide accurate result in detecting SARS-CoV-2.
