Quality Water Recognition Scheme for Buildings

The Hong Kong Water Supplies Department has launched the Quality Water Recognition Scheme for Buildings  (formerly named "Fresh Water Plumbing Quality Maintenance Recognition Scheme") on July 2002.

The main objective of the Scheme is to encourage the building owners to maintain their plumbing systems inside a building, so that good quality of water could be supplied at the taps to the consumers. A Certificate to recognize proper maintenance will be issued by the Water Supplies Department and the application is free of charge. For details, please refer to the web-site of the Hong Kong Water Supplies Department.

In order to fulfill the requirements laid down by the Water Supplies Department, the building owner should employ an independent laboratory to conduct water analysis. Enviro Labs Limited is an approved laboratory to conduct the water testing. We offers a complete water quality examination package for the building owners to apply for the Certificate. The package include the water quality examination for the following parameters:

           - pH

           - Colour

           - Turbidity

           - Conductivity

           - Iron

           - E. coli

           - Total Coliform

Enviro Labs Ltd. holds HOKLAS accreditation for the above test parameters and our test report is eligible to be used for applying the Certificate of the Scheme.
