Is your water safe to drink?

Is your water safe to drink? Does it smell funny or is it cloudy or yellowish in colour? Changes in the appearance, taste, odor, and color may be your first evidence of a problem. If you are worrying about the quality of water from your tap, Enviro Labs could help you to identify the problem and confirm whether your water is safe to drink.

Which parameters should be tested?

There are numerous parameters that could reflect the quality of drinking water. However, testing all the parameters is time-consuming and expensive. Unless your water is not supplied by the Water Supplies Department, it is not necessary to have a full test for your tap water.

To have a quick check of the water quality, we recommend to conduct analyses for the following parameters:

Property owners and management companies could join the “Quality Water Recognition Scheme for Buildings ” launched by the Water Supplies Department to certify that the water quality supplied in the buildings is up to standards.
